Or at least that's how I feel...
I'm now 38+2 which I know is hardly 'overdue' but my God am I feeling it! Baby has decided that there is not enough room in my tummy, so has decided to stick his feet behind my ribs and periodically give me a kick for good measure.
That said, there are times when I'm quite happy not to be in labour - the sun is shining today and we've been able to play in the garden (when I say "play" I mean I've been sitting with a cup of tea watching the kids run around with no clothes on, and reluctantly rescuing one when they come a cropper).
So I thought I'd outline my position CLEARLY to this little one, so he knows exactly when to come.
DATE: 12th April 2015

5pm onwards. Labour is BANNED, particularly in the wee small hours when I need my sleep.
Also banned: beautiful sunny days, days when mummy has a cold or feels under the weather, days when the cupboards are bare, days when mummy just doesn't FEEL like it.

In all seriousness, anytime now would be good!
