Being home, Belly Buttons and Boobies...

Well, finally the blog title is true... We now have four tiny tearaways in the house...

Lily is relishing the role of 'big sister' (although she obviously already WAS one).  When the boys were born she was more jealous than delighted.  I was worried about the boys.  Now she's delighted... I think I'm EVEN MORE worried about Evie (lol).  It's lovely she wants to hold/cuddle/kiss her all the time, but being 3 she has no idea of how gentle she needs to be.  "No, no mummy, I was just giving her a kiss..."

A funny moment occurred when she was helping me change Evie earlier. She caught sight of the belly button with its bit of cord attached, and recoiled in horror - screamed and hid behind the bed.  To reassure her, I tried to explain that this is where Evie was attached to mummy, and that this is how she was fed in my tummy and not to worry, that red bit will fall off...  Her face was a picture - and I don't think I made her feel any better...

Anyway, remember I said that Evie was a good sleeper?  Why oh WHY did I put that in print?  Talk about tempting fate. Let's just say, she sleeps well, but she's even better at being awake, and my god does she have a pair of lungs on her...  Think of me tonight in the wee small hours, staggering out of bed, half blind, half asleep...

And finally, BOOBS.  I've never breastfed any of my lot - not through choice, I would have liked to and always assumed I WOULD. However, medication I have to take means that I can't, sadly.

Each time I've given birth, the hospital have given me some tablets that stops my milk coming in.  And it was the same this time. Except that this time, they have given me three tubes of tiny "homeopathic" pills. Or sugar.  And did it work?  No it bloody didn't.  Let's say I'm not particularly well endowed in that department, but now I look like I've got two giant goose eggs sellotaped to my front.  And OMG ouch!  Bloody homeopathic clap trap...

Girdle Update
I'm wearing it!!  And IT FITS!  Mrs Sausage is on the loose...
